Research Interests

I study the properties of quantum and nanoscale systems and their potential applications to quantum information processing. Of particular interest are: (1) transport properties in quantum spin systems, (2) magnetic and superconducting interfaces and their dynamics, and (3) realizations of topological states of matter and the consequences of their environment.
