Electronics Shop
At the Electronics Shop, our engineers provide technical support and electronics services to professors, researchers, staff, and graduate students in the Department of Physics. We’re involved in the design, maintenance, and modernization of a wide range of apparatus — including research instruments, laboratory equipment, powered machines, and educational tools — used daily throughout the department. Our expertise covers everything from CAD work and circuit prototyping to robotics, electronic design, assembly, repair, and consultation. We also offer a variety of specialized services, such as PCB milling, 3D printing, coil winding, custom cable fabrication, gold plating, and hands-on electronics tutorials. Our mission is to establish the University of Florida as the global leader in physics research and education.
